Between the Cell Saga and after the Victory against Buu, Kai is off world and isn’t around that much with the other Z-Fighters

Now I am following the DBGT/DBAF timeline..so I guess this would be considered non-canon
793A.D. [9 years after the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai]
Goku has been gone for 5 years already after absorbing the Dragonballs.
Kai marries Keya, and they both have a son by the name of Jin, who at this time is 12yrs old and is a pure blood saiyan.
A rogue Android [#66] from the Red Ribbon has been awaken from yet another secret lab from Dr. Gero. His primary purpose is the annihilation of the Saiyan Race…
A desperate battle for survival begins shortly after…
Android 66 is relentless…
but the first to fall was not expected….
He was told to flee….to hide….to find help if possible…
The young Saiyan, Jin was Android 66’s first victim…..
In my version Kai doesn’t need to go through all that mumbo jumbo transforming into the Oozaru State..it’s more of an internal struggle to contain all that rage which causes the SSJ4 Transformation….hence the Oozaru in the background represents that internal struggle.

Laughter….
Cold, heartless laughter….
Frozen with fear and utterly defeated, there was nothing I could do but listen to that
abomination rejoice while he hovered over the life-less body of my son.
My Son…
Those 2 words echoed in my mind over and over again. Memories forming from times past
that were so profound it was ripping my soul in half…
How could I let this happen?? My only son…taken from me for what?
Sport?
Programming?
The mere thought of it all was sickening. So many emotions and blame were festering deep
within me…
Damn you Goku…Damn you and Red Ribbon for letting this happen!!
Looking through flooded eyes, I glanced over at Lynn.
Lynn…dearest Lynn. My friend and companion was shocked and motionless, staring blankly at the event that had just transpired.
Complete fear had taken over her. I don’t know why I kept staring at her but she was fighting her own demons right now….
Then it hit me…”KEYA!!!!!!”
Turning in the other direction, leaving a trail of tears in the wind I saw Keya drop to her knees in disbelief. Tears pouring down her face and her body shaking with fear,
I could see the light of her soul simply leave at the death of her son….
Our son….
How could I do this to her? The girl who for years was so detached. I had spent so many years building her confidence and trust to see the Universe as something more than a battlefield was completely destroyed by a failed Lab experiment.
I’m the one to blame. Not Goku. So how could I let this happen?
Simple…

I wasn’t strong enough to save my mother…

Now my son…
Something deep inside my soul started to burn. At first it was just an annoyance,
but it festered and began to boil.
I had to get it out but I couldn’t move…
Everyone was paralyzed…. The will to fight gone…Waiting for the final blow
Then it happened…
The fire inside roared to life…
No more doubt, no more self loathing…
Hate and Anger…

They would do all the talking from now on…
With a deafening roar that would shake the heavens…..

I based Goku's color off of Dragonball AF...
it's not much of it mind you, but I have future plans....
My concept for the Ancient Namekian is this....He is all twisted, scarred and the what not, but he soley could not rely on the dark star dragonballs to sustain his life. There were times that he was experimented on over and over again....Needless to say, this Namekian is NUTS!! Doesn't help that he was one of the first of his race.....
Timeline
In Kai's story this takes place after Dragonball GT, when Goku absorbs the Dragonballs and goes to the Realm of the Dragons.
After the death of his son by the hands of Android 66, Kai was at a lost.
With so much rage, Kai was unable to transform back to his normal self and was stuck in his Super Saiyan 4 state....
To make sure no one got harmed, Kai went to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to get things sorted out.
It's during this time where he was visited in a dream by an Ancient Namek...one of the first, and spoke of the Dark Star Dragonballs...
Now before Goku left, he made it quite clear that no one was to make wishes with the other dragonballs [Namekian and The Black Star Dragonballs]
Stricken with grief at the loss of his son, Kai made it his mission to find the dark star dragonballs that were lost throughout the galaxy and wish his son back...
But these dragonballs come with a price...
the wish that is made, the users soul becomes that of the Ancient Namek, dies and ceases to exist......forever lost...
Battles will be fought, lives lost..but eventually Kai recovers all 7 dark star dragonballs....
The question is...."will the wish be made?"
